Bit About Me

AlohaDeDe, wife and mother of two wonderful sons, two lovely step daughters and a sweet granddaughter.  She along with her husband Mark, reside outside of Portland Oregon.  Born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. She  enjoys gardening, making her guys laugh and a hardy theological geeky looking book.   She and Mark enjoy ministry as a team, he the solid calm strength to her silly geeky side. She has the awesome privilege of  writing an online weekly devotional teaching.  (You can also catch her on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Inspired-Fountain-118003058223136/)  She leads women’s bible studies and serves on the leadership team of her local church. She is an ordained minister and loves officiating weddings.

Her passion is Jesus and His word.  She sincerely desires to have that become contagious to others,  holding a degree in Theology, yet for her, that is NOT enough, it is a lifetime of wonderful God revelations, a student of the Word FIRST, then a teacher.

“DeDe  is masterful in the art of the word smith. Her gift of articulating complex truth in practical and useful terms is refreshing to the soul and challenging to the mind. In addition, her grasp of original languages takes the reader into a deeper understanding and appreciation of Gods word.”  ~ Tom Fox, Senior Pastor of Lakepoint Community Church, Keizer, Oregon.

“We have so enjoyed the insightful devotionals from the pen of DeDe  for the past few years.  We have known her since her mid-teens and are delighted to see her develop this wonderful gift.  Her writing is light, but deep; easy to understand, yet profound; full of humor, but with a serious message.  May multitudes be blessed by the wisdom gems that flow from Heaven through our dear friend, DeDe!   ~ Pastors Ben and Brenda Peters, founders and directors of Open Heart Ministries and KingdomSending Center, authors and conference speakers.  Chicago, IL.

“DeDes preaching,  brings God’s word in such a refreshing and passionate way, that captivates the hearts and souls of everyone!”      ~ Gerry Graves, Director of Senior Adults Ministry, Evergreen Christian Center, Hillsboro Oregon

Dede writes with an inspiration of the heart that yearns to know God….. And yet she presents the Word of God in a way that is believable and also live-able! Keep the insights coming!” ~ Pastor Bill Wedel, founder of Sparrows Nest Ministries, B.C. Canada

“tough being a teacher”…Blame it on your day Job 🙂 hey Moses tried to get out of his task with God too…. May you always find the Love and support of others to keep His Holy Spirit flowing thru your words of Wisdom… We need them

DeDe… I read somewhere that you are looking for a job… and I say that you have a beautiful gift of writing, one that brings God close to your readers.

    So here’s the deal

Do you have a PayPal account set up where me and others like me… could click on a easy button and give to your ministry?
